Into The Silence Retreat
Into The Silence Retreat
Discover The Power Within
May & September 2026
This 3-day silent retreat invites you to turn inward, connect with your inner truth, and rediscover the strength that lives within. Through Stillness, self-inquiry, and spacious reflection, you’ll tap into a quieter knowing-one that guides you forward with clarity, groundedness, and power.
This retreat offers a rare opportunity to disconnect from external chatter and reconnect with your inner world through silence, mindfulness and nature.
Step away from the noise and distractions of everyday life and into a space of deep stillness, renewal and presence.
In silence, clarity emerges.
The mind settles. The heart speaks. The body listens.
A silent retreat nurtures all aspects of your being—restoring balance, renewing clarity, and reconnecting you to your inner truth through the wisdom of body, mind, and spirit.

- Recharges your nervous system through rest and stillness.
- Lowers blood pressure and supports immune function.
- Enhances sleep quality and natural energy levels.
Mind
- Clears mental clutter and reduces stress and anxiety.
- Enhances focus, creativity and emotional awareness.
- Cultivates mindfulness and present-moment awareness.
spirit
- Deepens self-awareness and spiritual insight
- Fosters a profound sense of inner peace and connection
- Opens space for reflection, healing and transformation.
“I came to the Silent Retreat seeking quiet time with God and space to heal. The silence allowed me to connect deeply with the God of my understanding, and during meditation and reflection I was shown truths I had doubted for years. On Saturday night, I was ready to release my pain at the fireside, and in doing so I felt a profound sense of renewal. I left feeling lighter, grateful, and deeply changed by the experience. “

“Attending this silent retreat at the historic ranch was exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was incredible—set on land where the prairies meet the forest, offering spectacular views and a natural energy that invited both peace and reflection. Horses grazing nearby, along with the presence of dogs and cats, added a gentle side-bar of comfort and companionship that deepened the sense of connection to the land and life around me.
Spending so much time outdoors in movement and quiet contemplation was deeply grounding and important to me. The facilitators created a wonderful flow of yoga, meditation, and thoughtfully prompted activities that connected seamlessly, making the entire experience feel both intentional and nurturing. Each element came together to support true self-care and meaningful reflection.
For me, silence is not something to fear—it’s just something rare and hard to find. This retreat gave me that precious gift of quiet, along with the clarity I needed for my goals, a reset in movement, and a renewed sense of health. It was a transformative experience that I will carry with me long after leaving the ranch.”
Vegetarian Meals
At our silent retreat, meals are more than sustenance—they are an integral part of the meditative process. We offer a carefully curated selection of wholesome, vegetarian meals designed to support physical well-being, mental clarity, and inner stillness.
Each dish is prepared with mindfulness, using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our menus are simple yet nourishing, free from stimulants such as caffeine, garlic, and onions, to maintain a calm and balanced inner environment.
Meals are served in silence, inviting participants to practice mindful eating—an opportunity to slow down, savor each bite, and cultivate gratitude. Whether it’s a warm bowl of lentil soup, a vibrant grain salad, or gently steamed vegetables, every meal is an offering to your practice.
We accommodate common dietary needs such as gluten-free and dairy-free options. Our goal is to provide food that supports your retreat experience, helping you feel light, grounded, and present.
Let each meal be a moment of stillness. A time to nourish not only the body, but the soul.

I’m still not sure if this retreat is for me – how do I decide?

Can I bring my spouse/partner/kids?
Silent retreats are typically designed for individual participation, as the focus is on personal introspection and solitude. While you and a partner or friend are welcome to attend together, you will not share a sleeping space and will be asked to observe silence and follow the retreat schedule independently.
Can I bring my pet?
Here is the Reesor Ranch policy on pets:
“Our guest ranch is a working cattle ranch. We have cattle, horses, dogs and barn cats. Our ranch dogs serve a purpose in everyday ranch life by being our family companions and keeping wildlife predators away from the ranch buildings.
Domestic pets pose a risk to themselves, other livestock and visitors on the ranch. Our ranch borders the Cypress Hills Wilderness Area, which is home to large numbers of wildlife. Though encounters are rare, they could pose a risk to your pet.
Pets brought into our rental units pose risks to guests who stay in those units after dogs have been there. Guests with allergies and sensitivities to pet dander are at risk to have allergic reactions. Dog hair is difficult to remove from furniture and bedding and if the animal defecates or urinates it causes a hygienic risk. Digging and defecating around the buildings adds extra work for staff to clean up as well.”
Thank you for understanding!
What time can I arrive?
Registration is from 6:00-7:00pm. Will be sending out an email with exact times and dates upon registration.
Can I come late or leave early if the times don’t exactly work for me?
Yes. Just please be aware you will miss out on some of the activities. We cannot reimburse you for any missed time.
